The umbilical cord is specifically designed to practice umbilical vein catherization on the NENASim Xtreme. Through a connection with the NENASim the umbilical cord is able to generate pulses, coupled to the heart beat. The umbilical cord carries fluid can be catheterized and cut-off multiple times. The cord is made of realistic silicon skin containing two arteries and one vein, buried within the Wharton’s jelly.
