The female suture leg is modelled on a real leg and features all muscular and bony structures. The skin is made of a thick and yet flexible material and can be sewn in a realistic way. As in the case of real skin, an appropriate amount of effort is required to pierce it with a needle. Red tissue lies beneath the skin, depicting the wound. Incisions can be made on any part of the leg, including at difficult places such as the knee. Further training possibilities concern drain insertion, wound care and the application of dressings. Naturally various sewing techniques and stitch removal can also be practised. The sewing of deeper layers of tissue is not possible.
