Veterinary simulators - Bovine/ Cow

Cow/cattle models are irreplaceable tools used both for teaching animal anatomy in schools and veterinary universities, but also as a decorative element in offices and clinics. Thanks to three-dimensional shapes, it is possible to discuss the exact structure of animals, their life functions and their impact on the ecosystem. They offer visual and realistic representations of various internal organs, helping students, researchers and professionals learn, diagnose and plan treatment. In our online store we have complete cow models, skeletons, cow trainers and simulators.

Anatomical structure of cattle:

Cattle have a relatively large head compared to the rest of their body. The nose is wide and has taste buds (this helps cattle choose food). The long esophagus connects to the first of the 4 stomach chambers, the rumen. There, plant food is digested thanks to bacterial fermentation. The rumen allows cattle to chew quietly, which is very characteristic of ruminants. The remaining chambers are called: cap, books, and abomasum. In addition to the rumen and stomach, cattle have a very long small and large intestine that help digest food. The legs of cattle are strong and adapted to support their body weight. The cattle's tail is short and ends with a brush of hair. Milk is stored in cows' udders. They vary in structure and appearance depending on the breed.
The ability of cows to efficiently digest plant foods and produce milk makes them important farm animals around the world (milk and meat production).

What does the OpenMedis online store offer?

Due to following market trends and the desire to reach as many customers as possible, we try to include a variety of models in our assortment, both comprehensive and divided into individual body parts, as well as calving and ultrasound diagnostics simulators. Below are some of them:
  • Educational Cow Model, composed of 15 parts, depicting a female breeding cattle on a base. Designed to teach the anatomy and topography of a cow's internal organs.
  • The bovine calving simulator will be a practical tool for training cows giving birth and conducting ultrasound examinations.
  • A bovine skeleton model with horns, this is a complete model perfect for demonstrating typical bone structure and anatomy.
  • Cow tail model with artificial blood pump and realistic coccygeal vein for practicing blood collection techniques. The position of the vertebrae and veins has been recreated based on real cattle anatomy, allowing students to find the correct position.
Our models perfectly reflect both the external and internal structure, which allows for comparative analysis of cattle.

Application of cow models:

  • Education – an excellent tool used both at veterinary universities and in primary and secondary schools.
  • Scientific research - allows you to present the physiology of the animal body and explain the mechanisms of conducting research.
  • Lectures, conferences - cow models are perfect for various types of fairs, lectures and conferences. Their precise structure and workmanship allow for a very spectacular presentation of this group of animals.
  • Decoration – equipment for veterinary offices and clinics, as well as lecture halls
Our models are made of very durable materials, are delivered with a stand, and are properly secured during transport.
We also recommend models of sheep and models of pigs, which, combined with models of cows, will create an ideal set for learning anatomy and physiology.
If you have any questions or if the cow model you need is not available in the store, please contact us via e-mail or telephone. We are sure that together we will be able to provide the necessary materials for learning and improving skills. We can produce models to order.
