3D anatomy models - 3D lung anatomical models

3D anatomical models of the lungs as a teaching tool:

3D anatomical models of the lungs are advanced educational tools that present the three-dimensional structure of the lungs, their anatomy and the vascular and bronchopulmonary systems. The anatomical elements that can be clearly seen in these models include lungs, bronchi, blood vessels, as well as neural structures running in their vicinity. The lungs are an extremely important element of the respiratory system and their various aspects can be distinguished anatomically, which makes 3D anatomical models of the lungs invaluable when learning anatomy. Human lungs are a wealth of various anatomical structures and details, often running close to each other or crossing each other. From a teaching point of view, it is important to carefully visualize these structures in order to understand their functions as well as the mutual relations between them. During the teaching process, precisely made anatomical models, faithfully presenting the human body, work great. In this product category, we present anatomical models of the lungs created on the basis of CT radiological data and using modern 3D printing technology. OpenMedis also offers conventional anatomical models of the respiratory system.

3D lung anatomical models - advantages:

The 3D anatomical models of the lungs are made entirely of artificial material. This means that they do not wear out over time, creating the same, equal teaching conditions for all students. Our 3D lung anatomical models are precisely developed using data from computed tomography (CT) images and modern 3D printing technology. This means that they are faithful representations of the anatomical structure of the lungs, from small details to overall layout. Our 3D lung anatomical models provide a significant advantage over traditional models, which often present anatomy in a less realistic and abstract way. Moreover, our models do not require special storage conditions, are durable and cannot be disposed of, which makes them excellent teaching tools. There is no doubt that the colors of individual structures, tailored to educational purposes, facilitate learning anatomy by understanding the topography of individual structures and the mutual relations between them.

3D lung anatomical models - application:

The use of 3D anatomical models of the lungs is versatile and covers learning in many medical fields, such as medicine, physiotherapy, nursing and emergency medical services. They are perfect equipment for anatomy laboratories, medical offices and anatomy museums. In addition, they can be used during courses, training and as a decorative element in teaching rooms and medical offices.
Types of 3D lung anatomical models:
Our offer includes so-called anatomical models conventional and unconventional. Our offer includes models showing the bronchial tree, lung cavities and the structure of the chest with the heart and vessels. Additionally, on our website we have anatomical models of diseases related to the respiratory system, including: model of a foreign body in the trachea, image of cystic fibrosis in the lung, etc.
  • The chest model with a heart and vessels is very popular among our customers.
Based on radiological data, a series of models faithfully reflecting the human body were created. These advanced teaching aids are the equipment of anatomy laboratories of many Medical Universities in Poland. This is a modern solution used in many countries around the world.
How can we help?
OpenMedis is an experienced manufacturer and distributor of anatomical models on the Polish market. For many years, we have been successfully equipping anatomy laboratories of medical schools and universities, medical offices, schools and museums. If you need advice on equipment for the anatomy laboratory at your institution, we will be happy to advise you on the best product range to choose. Please contact us.
We also recommend 3D anatomical models of the head and 3D torso models, which, combined with 3D lung models, will create a comprehensive set for learning the anatomy and physiology of the body.
